Me and my friend would always talk to each other in Lithuanian during class. It was useful because we got to pretty much talk privately in front of the class. It was also interesting because when I would talk in Lithuanian kids always looked at me weird and asked “What kind of language is that?” when I would reply “Lithuanian” they would look at me weird and ask if that is a country in Africa. Whenever friends of parents would come over for a party or when we would go to them, all they would speak is Lithuanian. I would also speak Lithuanian in Saturday school.
